今回の講座で大切にするのは、
単に写真や見本をそのまま写すことではありません。


鳥ではなく、ペンギンを描く。
シロクマではなく、
“そこにいる一頭のシロクマ”を描く。

動物の骨格、身体の動き、顔の向き、毛並み、色の重なり。
リアルに押さえるべき部分を理解したうえで、
ネイルアートとしての可愛さや温かさを加えていきます。

「なぜ、この形になるのか」
「どこを変えると、その動物らしく見えるのか」
「リアルすぎず、可愛く見せるにはどうすればいいのか」
完成作品だけを見るのではわかりにくい、
古賀 葵の観察方法と表現の組み立て方を、ひとつずつ丁寧にお伝えします。

流行のモチーフではなくても、
“可愛い”は自分の手で生み出せる。

サロンワークでは、つい人気の色や流行のデザインに目が向きがちです。けれど、本当にお客様の心を動かすのは、
まだ多くの人が見たことのないデザインかもしれません。

今回扱う北極・南極の動物たちは、
日常のサロンワークで頻繁に登場するモチーフではありません。

この講座で学べること

動物を“それらしく”見せる観察力

輪郭だけを追うのではなく、骨格や可動域、姿勢、顔の向きを観察し、特徴を捉える方法を学びます。


リアルと可愛さを両立する表現

写実的になりすぎず、デフォルメしすぎない。動物らしさを残しながら、ネイルアートとして可愛く仕上げるコツをお伝えします。


毛並みや立体感、奥行きの作り方

筆の動かし方や色の重ね方を通して、動物の柔らかな毛並み、水中の透明感、身体の丸みを表現します。


ネイルの中に収める構図の考え方

広いキャンバスとは異なる、ネイルならではの構図やサイズ感を学びます。小さな爪の中でも、動物の魅力を的確に伝える力を養います。


流行に頼らないデザイン発想

珍しいモチーフを、思わず「可愛い」と感じてもらえる作品に仕上げる工夫を学び、サロンワークの新しい提案へつなげます。



3ヶ月間のレッスン内容

1ヶ月目

まずは、動物を描くための“見方”を身につける。


Lesson 1｜動物を描くコツ


動物アートに必要な観察方法、形の捉え方、色の考え方を学びます。

Lesson 2｜ジェンツーペンギン


特徴的なくちばしや模様、丸みのある身体を描き分けます。

Lesson 3｜アデリーペンギン


白と黒のバランス、表情の作り方、愛らしく見せるポイントを学びます。

Lesson 4｜皇帝ペンギン


身体の比率や色の重なりを意識し、堂々とした姿を表現します。




2ヶ月目

水中で生きる動物たちの、動きと透明感を描く。


Lesson 5｜皇帝ペンギンの赤ちゃん


ふわふわとした毛並み、丸いシルエット、幼い表情を描きます。

Lesson 6｜白イルカ


滑らかな身体のラインと、柔らかな白の立体感を表現します。

Lesson 7｜クジラ


大きな身体を爪の中に収めながら、雄大な動きや水中の空気感を描きます。

Lesson 8｜アザラシ


丸みのある身体、模様、つぶらな表情を可愛く仕上げます。




3ヶ月目

立体表現を取り入れ、より自由な物語ネイルへ。


Lesson 9｜立体シロクマ


フォルムと厚みを意識しながら、存在感のある立体アートに挑戦します。

Lesson 10｜ラッコ


動きのあるポーズや愛らしい仕草を捉え、表情豊かに描きます。

すぐに上手く描けなくても、大丈夫です。

ペイントは、見本を一度見ただけで、
すぐに同じように描けるものではありません。


お習字やピアノと同じように、
何度も筆を持ち、何度も描くことで、少しずつ自分の技術になっていきます。

ジェルに慣れる。
筆に慣れる。
爪の中に、適切な大きさで描けるようになる。
色の重ね方がわかる。
形の違和感に、自分で気づけるようになる。

その積み重ねの先に、必ず変化があります。

「見て満足して終わる」
「一度描いて、難しいから諦める」

それでは、技術は自分のものになりません。

うまく描けない日も、思い通りにならない作品も、
すべてが次の一枚につながっています。


この3ヶ月は、完成作品を増やすだけの時間ではなく、
描くことを諦めない自分を育てる時間です。


第9期だからこそ、届けられること。

オンラインでの講座を始めてから約6年。

その間にも、ジェルや筆は進化し、
ネイリストの皆さんにとって、ペイントアートは以前より身近な存在になりました。

第9期では、これまで古賀 葵が培ってきた技術と経験をもとに、
動物を描くための基本から、色、形、動き、立体表現までを段階的に学びます。

経験者の方は、表現の幅をさらに広げる機会に。
動物アートに苦手意識がある方は、改めて基礎から向き合う機会に。

それぞれの現在地から、一歩先へ進むための3ヶ月です。

From Simply “Drawing” to Capturing a Life That Truly Exists

“I want to draw animals, but I struggle to get their shapes right.”

Do you feel this way, yet find painted nail art difficult to master?
Animals have skeletal structures, ranges of motion, and distinctive textures in their fur and skin. Even a slight change in the angle of the face or the proportions of the body can completely transform their expression and overall impression.
That is what makes animal art so fascinating—and so challenging.
However, once you understand what to observe and how to approach the drawing process, you can bring a sense of life and character to an animal, even within the tiny canvas of a nail.

This Course’s Theme: Animals of the Arctic and Antarctic

A softly rounded polar bear.
A whale gliding majestically through the water.
A parent and baby penguin nestled closely together.
A sea otter or seal with an irresistibly charming expression.
In this course, we will portray the wild animals that survive in some of the world’s harshest natural environments through Aoi Koga’s delicate use of color and her signature storytelling approach.

Membership Information

Applications open at 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.

Course content will begin streaming on Tuesday, August 25, 2026.

Enrollment will close once the maximum number of participants has been reached.
This is a limited-term online salon running for three months, from Tuesday, August 25 to Tuesday, November 24, 2026.
The full three-month membership fee will be charged upon enrollment.

More Than Simply Cute

Capture the True Character of Each Animal on the Nail

The goal of this course is not simply to copy a photograph or reproduce a finished example exactly as it appears.
Rather than drawing a generic bird, you will learn to draw a penguin.
Rather than drawing an ordinary polar bear, you will learn to portray one individual polar bear that feels as though it is truly there.
You will study the animal’s skeletal structure, physical movement, facial direction, fur texture, and layered colors.
By understanding which elements need to be portrayed realistically, you can then add the warmth and charm that make the finished piece work as nail art.
“Why does the body take this particular shape?”
“What needs to change for the drawing to look more like that specific animal?”
“How can I make it look cute without making it either too realistic or too simplified?”
These are questions that cannot easily be answered by looking only at a completed design.
Throughout the course, Aoi Koga will carefully explain her methods of observation and the way she builds each expression, step by step.

You Can Create “Cute” with Your Own Hands

Even Without Relying on Trending Motifs



In salon work, it is easy to focus on popular colors and currently trending designs.
However, what truly moves a client may be a design they have never seen before.
The Arctic and Antarctic animals featured in this course are not motifs that appear frequently in everyday salon work.
That is exactly why they have the potential to inspire new conversations and requests such as:
“I’ve never seen nails like these before.”
“Could you paint this animal for me?”
“Next time, I’d love to try a different animal.”
Instead of simply reproducing a trend, you can begin creating and sharing a new kind of “cute” from your own salon.

The Observational Skills Needed to Make Animals Look Authentic

Rather than tracing only the outline, you will learn how to observe an animal’s skeletal structure, range of motion, posture, and facial direction in order to identify its defining characteristics.

How to Balance Realism and Cuteness

You will learn how to preserve the animal’s essential character while avoiding a result that is either overly realistic or excessively simplified.
We will share techniques for creating a finish that feels both authentic and charming as nail art.
How to Create Fur, Dimension, and Depth
Through brush movement and the layering of colors, you will learn how to express soft fur, the transparency of an underwater environment, and the rounded volume of an animal’s body.

How to Compose an Animal within the Small Space of a Nail

A nail requires a very different approach from a large canvas.
You will learn how to choose the right composition and scale so that the animal’s appeal can be communicated clearly, even within a very small space.

How to Develop Designs Without Depending on Trends

You will learn how to transform unusual motifs into designs that immediately feel charming and appealing, allowing you to make fresh proposals in your salon work.

Learning How to “See” Before Learning How to Draw
Lesson 1 | The Fundamentals of Drawing Animals
Learn the methods of observation, shape analysis, and color selection required for animal nail art.
Lesson 2 | Gentoo Penguin
Learn how to portray its distinctive beak, markings, and softly rounded body.
Lesson 3 | Adélie Penguin
Study the balance between black and white, how to create expressions, and the key details that make the penguin look especially charming.
Lesson 4 | Emperor Penguin
Focus on body proportions and layered colors to portray its dignified, majestic appearance.



Month Two

Capturing Movement and Transparency in Aquatic Animals
Lesson 5 | Baby Emperor Penguin
Learn how to portray fluffy feathers, a rounded silhouette, and the innocent expression of a young penguin.
Lesson 6 | Beluga Whale
Express the smooth curves of the body and the soft, dimensional quality of white.
Lesson 7 | Whale
Learn how to fit the whale’s enormous body within the nail while still conveying its majestic movement and the atmosphere of the underwater world.
Lesson 8 | Seal
Create an adorable seal by focusing on its rounded body, markings, and gentle, expressive eyes.





Month Three

Introducing Three-Dimensional Techniques and Creating More Expressive Story Nails
Lesson 9 | Three-Dimensional Polar Bear
Explore three-dimensional art by focusing on form, volume, and thickness to create a polar bear with a strong sense of presence.
Lesson 10 | Sea Otter
Capture dynamic poses and lovable gestures to create an expressive and characterful sea otter.

It Is Okay If You Cannot Draw It Perfectly Right Away

Painted art is not something you can master simply by watching a demonstration once.
Just like calligraphy or playing the piano, the technique gradually becomes your own through repeatedly holding the brush and continuing to practice.
You become familiar with the gel.
You become familiar with the brush.
You learn how to draw at the right scale within the nail.
You begin to understand how colors should be layered.
You become able to recognize for yourself when a shape does not look quite right.
Every one of these steps leads to meaningful change.
Simply watching the lessons and feeling satisfied is not enough.
Trying once and giving up because it feels difficult will not allow the technique to become part of you.
The days when the drawing does not go well and the pieces that do not turn out as expected are all connected to your next creation.
These three months are not simply a time for increasing the number of completed designs in your portfolio.
They are a time for developing the persistence to keep drawing without giving up.

What We Can Offer Because This Is the Ninth Term

It has been approximately six years since Aoi Koga began offering online courses.
During that time, gels and brushes have continued to evolve, and painted art has become more accessible to nail artists than ever before.
In this ninth term, you will learn step by step, from the fundamentals of drawing animals to color, shape, movement, and three-dimensional expression, based on the techniques and experience Aoi Koga has developed throughout her career.
For experienced artists, this course will be an opportunity to expand the range of their expression even further.
For those who feel uncertain or uncomfortable with animal art, it will be an opportunity to return to the fundamentals and approach the subject from a fresh perspective.
Whatever your current level may be, these three months are designed to help you take the next step forward.

There are many different ways to express yourself through painted nail art.
There is a wonderful sense of achievement when you are able to draw what you imagined.
There is also an incredible excitement that comes from seeing a client delighted by your work.
I believe these feelings of joy grow little by little in proportion to the amount of practice you complete and the time you invest.
Even when you cannot draw something perfectly on your first attempt, there is no need to rush.
As you continue drawing, you will gradually become more familiar with your brushes and gels, and you will become increasingly able to give shape to what you imagine.
Through the adorable animals featured in this course, I hope we can share a new kind of “cute” in nail art together.
Let us practice, create many different pieces, and make these three months a period in which you can truly recognize your own growth.
